IMPORTANT: This is a fixed indemnity policy, NOT health insurance.
This fixed indemnity policy may pay you a limited dollar amount if you’re sick, hospitalized or for preventive health screenings. You’re still responsible for paying the cost of your care.
The payment you get isn’t based on the size of your medical bill.
There might be a limit on how much this policy will pay each year.
This policy isn’t a substitute for comprehensive health insurance.
Since this policy isn’t major medical health insurance, it doesn’t have to include most federal consumer protections that apply to health insurance.
U.S. board-certified doctors and nurse practitioners are licensed to practice in your state and are equipped to diagnose, treat, and prescribe medication when medically appropriate in accordance with federal, state and local laws. Please note: Our providers do not prescribe controlled substances regulated by the DEA or state agencies, or any medications with a high potential for abuse.
Benefits paid by the fixed indemnity policy may be taxable. Please consult your tax professional to determine whether any of the benefits paid to you will be taxable.
